How to charge your crystals
Some crystal collectors use a quiet moment with their jewelry to set an intention. This is a personal ritual, separate from cleaning or caring for the material. Follow the care instructions for your stone, setting, and chain. If you are unsure what your piece can tolerate, contact us before using water, salt, sunlight, or cleaning equipment.
For a simple ritual, place the piece on a clean, dry surface indoors, take a moment to reflect, and choose a personal intention. No soaking or burial is necessary.
Physical care (jewelry & stones)
- Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.
- Avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, and abrasive polishing unless a jeweler confirms it is safe for your specific piece.
- Store pieces separately so harder stones or metalwork do not scratch softer materials.
- Do not assume saltwater immersion, burial, or prolonged sunlight is safe for all jewelry. Many minerals can etch, fade, or crack; metal settings and cords can corrode or weaken.
- Amethyst and some colored stones may fade with prolonged intense light; keep sensitive pieces out of bright windowsills.
Optional spiritual ritual
If moonlight or a quiet dark rest feels meaningful to you, treat it as symbolism and personal practice—not a required maintenance step. Keep jewelry dry and indoors unless you have verified that your specific mineral and setting can handle moisture or outdoor conditions.
